Students can go to the Professional Practice Center here at KCAI and work with faculty to help in placement for internships.
We work with students to develop business skills and entrepreneurship skills. If they're interested in having their own studio practice or if they're interested in starting their own company. Our internship program helps students get experience working with companies, and oftentimes individual artists to learn about different career experiences.
KCAI has a number of locations international and local ,where students can intern such as Hallmark and Garmin dimensional innovations.
Every year, a number of students are paired with Hallmark employees across a lot of their creative divisions.
I am creative director, director of talent, at an agency here in Kansas City called C-3 and have helped build a paid internship program that runs year round.
